About DataTube2

DataTube2 is the result of an academic research project from the University François Rabelais of Tours, Computer Science Lab, France, and the University of Lille2. This project has started in 2008 and is supervised by Gilles Venturini (University François Rabelais of Tours) and Fatma Bouali (University of Lille2). It was partially supported by the Région Centre (FDTE project). Many students of Polytech’Tours contributed to it. Marion Quiniou is the author of version 2.5.1. Sébastien Devaux was also involved in this project.

A journal paper about DataTube2 was published in 2014 in The Visual Computer journal:

• A paper about the adaptation of DataTube2 to the visualization of parallel software logs,
• The work of a Data Designer, Ben Willers, who uses a tubular shape to represent Gold medals or "The love of guns",
